What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant - Part-Time position at Lifesteps Inc?
Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency in Butler, PA, is currently recruiting for an Accountant to work part-time in the Butler, PA office.
The Accountant is responsible for the preparation and proofing of financial records and documents. The position performs efficient and accurate data entry into the Micro Information Processing (M.I.P.) Accounting System, and Reconciliation of subsidiary reports.
This position is part-time, working between 20 to 28 hours weekly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years of related experience in Accounting
- OR a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field and 1 years of related experience in Accounting
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift, carry, move up to 25 pounds
- Excellent thought processing and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
