JOB SUMMARY: Grants and Contract Management and other supervisory and fiscal functions, as assigned.

- Contract Management
- Will ensure that all Grant postings, billings and related reports are done in a timely manner.
- Will record all entries to the General Ledger and reconcile all General Ledger accounts that are affected by entries.
- Will ensure the internal control procedures over Grant Compliance and Accounting are followed and that accurate records are maintained.
- Prepare monthly billings for Contracts and Grants.
- Leads month end and year-end closing functions as needed including any Monitoring and Audit processes over Grants and Contracts.
- Maintains required files and documentation with regard to the Grants and Contracts accounting and compliance functions.
- Maintains, monitors and reports compliance with the Center’s Internal Control processes as it relates to the Grants and Contracts function.
- Adheres to Budgetary and other directives approved by Center Management, Board of Directors and applicable regulatory agencies.
- Strictly adheres to the Center’s rules of Confidentiality.
- Supervises the Center’s Grants and Contracts Bookkeeper I position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages Grants and Contract Bookkeeper I position. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and follows all applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employee; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education: BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Economics/Finance required.
- Experience: Minimum five (5) years experience in bookkeeping and computer data entry; minimum five (5) years experience in grant and contract management
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
