Business Systems Analyst
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to work out of our Mountville branch. The Business Systems Analystis responsible for supporting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud-based platform and mobile field service solutions, with tasks including but not limited to business analysis, data cleansing, report writing, documentation, training, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational issues including but not limited to support tickets, standard and ad-hoc report requests, system errors, etc.; follow up with end users to confirm issues are fully resolved
- Ensure scripts, automated tasks, and reports are accurate and run according to schedule
- Create necessary reports and dashboards as required by business needs
- Assist with implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central (EquipSoft) Equipment Dealer Management system through multiple phases and drive continuous improvement
- Perform data cleanup, migration, upload of data and setups as needed to pilot and production companies within ERP
- Assist with ongoing Business Event testing and end user training through development of documentation and training programs
- Maintain and develop standard and custom user permission sets and group memberships, review and audit regularly to ensure appropriate end user access
- Work directly with departments to analyze and gather business requirements, implement, and test all new and existing modules, integrations, customizations, and application upgrades
- Support legacy Unix (Minitrac) Dealer Management system through phase out
- Migrate and maintain legacy data in a managed cloud database
- Support mobile field service solution, back-office platform, and overall workflows
- Support integration services with work order management systems
- Maintain and test all system and end user documentation; create new documentation as needed; communicate updates and changes through Business Events, user guides, FAQ’s, release notes, knowledgebase articles, etc.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Three (3) years of related experience and/or training in Dynamics/NAV enterprise resource planning (ERP) and cloud-based platforms
- Three (3) years of related experience and/or training in SAP Crystal Reports, ODBC, Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Report Builder
- Three (3) years of related experience and/or training in Windows Task Scheduler, VBScript, Power BI on-prem gateway, Power Automate (Flows)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Products, Apps, and Services; strong proficiency with Excel – Data Filters/Sorting, Data Validation, Pivot Tables/Charts, Macros, VBA, Power Query, VLOOKUP, and other advanced formulas/functions, mail merge, etc.
Preferred:
- Two (2 ) years of experience in the equipment industry
- Three (3 ) years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud platform
- Experience accessing computers, servers, and mobile devices with remote desktop software
- Experience supporting iOS and iPadOS applications in a managed environment
- Experience working with Indexed Files in ACUCOBOL-GT Vision Version 5
- Experience with SCO Unix OpenServer 6 Definitive 2018 OS
- Barcoding / Scanning / QR Code experience
- CRM experience
