Warranty Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warranty Administrator to work out of our Mountville branch. The Warranty Administrator will manage the day-to-day activities related to the company’s warranty process across all branches. Additionally, this individual will work directly with manufacturer and vendor representatives to develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure proper support is provided in times of need.
Job Responsibilities:
Review every warranty repair order for proper completion and accuracy according to OEM policy and procedures
Submit warranty claims to manufacturer for payment across all branches
Resubmit all rejected claims promptly while documenting reason and addressing with service/parts management as required
Maintain an annual rejection percentage of 10% or less
Negotiate with manufacturers and distributors to earn higher reimbursement for company on claims when appropriate
Reconcile all warranty receivables
Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as assigned by manager
Conduct weekly audits of all outstanding claims
Attend warranty training courses offered by manufacturers as needed
Job Qualifications:
Required
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two (2) years related work experience
Computer skills using Microsoft products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Ability to write emails and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to managers and co-workers in timely manner
Strong math and analytical skills
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of tasks
Preferred
Two (2) years of college or equivalent training
Two or more (2 ) years of in automotive or equipment industry
