Dining Room Server-F/T

• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service of food.
• Serves food according to the planned menus/spreadsheets and the residents' food preferences and diet orders
• Ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner
• Ensures that meals are sent from kitchen or serving area according to established time schedules
• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with all employees and guests.
• Handle guest complaints in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
• Stock and rotate all needed supplies in the service areas and dining room.
• Comply with all local and SOP health, sanitation, and food/ work safety guidelines.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and clean chairs, and floors after guests leave.
• Comply with uniform and appearance standards.
• Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be Serv Safe certified

• One year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
  • Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
  • Must be able to assist assisted living population and possess great guest relations skills.
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
  • Continuous use of hands and arms.
  • Continuous bending, reaching and twisting required.
