Responsibilities
About the Role: Project Manager: De Novos and Construction
We are in search of a dedicated Project Manager with a strong commercial construction background to lead our de novo initiatives from board approval right through to operational commencement. As the driving force behind these critical projects, this role demands seamless communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration across various departments and with external vendors. The ideal candidate will be task-oriented, possessing a relentless commitment to achieving milestones and ensuring timely project completion. Not only will you be the custodian of our de novo aspirations, but your expertise will also be vital in steering cross-functional teams, upholding our vision, and delivering dental facilities that resonate with our brand's commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
Requirements and Preferences:
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
· Proven experience in de novo projects, with a strong preference for those in the healthcare setting.
· Demonstrated background in commercial construction, with hands-on experience overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles.
· Familiarity with dental facilities' unique construction requirements, regulations, and standards is a plus.
· Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding milestones and deadlines.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools. We use Wrike and/or Basecamp.
· Outstanding communication skills, capable of facilitating productive cross-functional meetings with internal departments and external vendors.
· A keen focus on task completion, paired with an ability to maintain a macro and micro view of project progression.
· Adept at navigating project challenges, anticipating potential roadblocks, and finding efficient solutions.
· Proven capability to work seamlessly within and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesion and alignment toward project goals.
· Ideal candidate will live in the Mid Atlantic region: DMV or the Carolinas. Our home office is in Woodbridge, VA, and candidates can expect to be in the office about once per month.
· Travel to locations and markets ~40%
