Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate childcare teacher to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students Ages 3-5 years. Your role will involve implementing curriculum, fostering student development, and promoting a love for learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the centers curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Foster a love for reading and literacy through engaging activities and resources
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student needs and progress, behavior, and upcoming events
Experience:
- Experience working with preschool aged children in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with childcare is a MUST for this position.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
