We are currently seeking a candidate will have a strong passion for the work they produce, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead by example. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team members and store manager in the day-to-day operations of the store and fullfillment center, contributing to the success of the business.
**Duties:**

- Leads by example-- Do what is right, no matter the circumstance.
- Remains positive and upbeat even during trying times and difficult situations.
- Assist the store manager in managing sales, customer service, and inventory control.
- Oversee the sales floor, including visual merchandising, product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Train and develop store associates in sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Process customer transactions and handle returns and exchanges.
- Collaborate with the store manager to set and achieve sales goals and manage the store budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and fashion to maintain a high level of product knowledge.
**Skills:**
- Proven experience in retail sales and management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset.
- Effective training development and employee orientation skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Experience with payroll and other administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer software, including POS systems.
- Ability to buy and manage merchandise as needed.
- A keen eye for visual merchandising and a passion for fashion and retail.
- Frequent lifting of 10-20 lbs. and bending.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
