Accounts Payable Specialist
Are you looking to grow your career in the accounting field? We have a couple of manufacturing clients in the west metro looking for high performers to add to their accounting teams. The accounts payable specialist will have the ability to work within a fast-paced team environment along with at least one year of general accounting and administrative experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable using multiple accounting systems and other programs.
• Perform full cycle Accounts Payable including verification of invoices, receiving approvals, entry into system, and processing of weekly payments
• Filing of State Sales and Use Tax refunds and payments
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and processing of Journal Entries as needed
• Manage vendor W9, Certificate of Insurance, and 1099 forms
• Assist with month end and year end activities
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Proficiencies

• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills required
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated successful ability to input data with a high accuracy rating, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn and utilize Company ERP and financial reporting systems.
• High ethics and integrity; able to work with sensitive and confidential information

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree Accounting.
• 1 years of Accounts Payable Experience preferred.
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.48 per hour
