Our Indirect Tax organization is looking for a hardworking tax analyst to support our growing company. The position is responsible for preparing state and local indirect tax returns, preparing reports and financial data related to indirect taxes, conducting indirect tax research, supporting indirect tax audits, and learning/using Lilly’s sales/use tax engine.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare state and local sales/use and property tax returns
- Run SAP reports and prepare financial data needed to support tax compliance filings
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly account reconciliations
- Research indirect tax questions to determine tax positions for Lilly and its subsidiaries
- Support business partners regarding indirect tax issues
- Respond to requests of indirect tax auditors
- Support exemption certificate process
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years or more of corporate or public accounting indirect tax experience
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Knowledge of indirect tax laws
- SAP experience
- Experience with tax determination software and tax research software
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
