Job Summary: We are seeking friendly and diligent Front Counter Associates to join our team at Lily's Cookies. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling in-person, phone, and, as needed, email interactions with professionalism and warmth. You will also manage our product displays, ensuring they are attractively and consistently stocked.
Your contributions will be vital in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers by providing attentive and personalized service that exceeds their expectations.

Please note, we are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time roles. Full-time employees will have the opportunity to be considered for a lead position after proving their skills and dedication to the team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Greet and interact with customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Efficiently handle customer inquiries and orders both in-person and through phone and email communications.
- Provide detailed information about products offered at Lily's Cookies.
- Report any customer issues or complaints to the Bakery Manager and/or Owner when necessary.
Operations:
- Process transactions using the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash and credit transactions with proper accountability.
- Take order bookings and respond to customer queries using computer programs like Microsoft Outlook, as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is replenished and displayed attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front counter and customer areas.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Support promotional activities or special bakery events as directed by bakery management.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize computer programs effectively, including Microsoft products for email communications.
- Operate and manage the Point of Sale system for billing, order management, and reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to meeting high standards of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to handle pressure and maintain efficiency in high-demand situations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in food service or a customer-facing role.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting.
- Must consistently display a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move continuously during working hours. Must be able to lift objects such as boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
