As Internal Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing a comprehensive internal communications strategy to ensure cohesive and effective communication within the organization. This role involves utilizing a variety of communication channels, managing content, collaborating with leadership, and fostering employee engagement.
This Position...
Some examples of the work you might do includes:
- Develops, implements, and executes an all-company internal communications and messaging calendar and strategy to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across the organization, utilizing a wide range of platforms such as UKG, Round Tables, Internal Intranet, TextEmAll, and other necessary platforms.
- Seeks opportunities for internal communication process improvement and optimization.
- Leads the development and dissemination of Limbach's monthly newsletters and other internal outreach strategies.
- Creates, manages, and schedules all-company email distribution for all departments.
- Edits and proofreads internal communication materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the organization's tone and branding.
- Develops creative internal communication materials and templates, such as flyers, videos, graphics, branch newsletter templates, new hire memo templates, promotion announcements, etc.
- Works directly with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop presentation materials for town hall presentations, quarterly board meetings, executive offsites, and other internal events.
- Supports other departments with all-company communication needs for specific projects or initiatives.
- Leads the process of the quarterly Town Hall core value recognition award program and post-town hall award distribution.
- Develops communication materials to promote, communication and support all-company employee engagement initiatives and events, such as Safety Week and internal all-company events.
- Distributes internal awards and survey opportunities to achieve target participation in programs like Top Workplace Programs, We Care Survey, and America's Most Loved Workplace.
- Analyzes and develops a monthly communication dashboard to inform on communication effectiveness and reach.
- Utilizes and manages digital communication tools and platforms to facilitate effective internal communication.
What You Need...
- 3 year(s) of experience in a communications or marketing-related role.
- Strong writing, editing, grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Familiarity with creating and leveraging communication strategies across various platforms and channels.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate main themes and messages with light guidance
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Writing/Editing, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- 5 year(s) of experience in a communications or marketing-related role.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and UKG.
- Ability to analyze communication effectiveness and provide actionable insights.

Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
Physical Demands:
- In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
