Who You Are...
As Sales Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the general marketing efforts of a designated branch location, assisting with proposal and presentation development, and helping to facilitate the successful execution of both internal and external events.
This Position...
Some examples of the work you might do includes:
- Prepares, writes, and reviews communication materials for use in a variety of media, including websites, newsletters, email distributions, and social media platforms.
- Develops and maintains databases to supplement marketing programs and solicit feedback.
- Assists with organization of customer/employee events, and participates to facilitate their success.
- Regularly represents the Company at external events such as trade shows and customer outings.
- Manages the CRM database and updates potential opportunities as they arise.
- Creates proposals, presentations, and graphics for the Sales team.
- Designs and posts online content on the branch website and social media accounts.
- Lends support to relevant projects that enhance the visibility of the business in the local market.
What You Need...
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of related experience in an administrative, marketing, or sales-related capacity.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Affinity for multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with producing, editing, proofing, and publishing content.
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Classes or a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Work Environment:
- This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
Physical Demands:
- In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- This is considered a light work position, which means possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
