JOB TITLE: Media Administrator
EMPLOYER: Broadcast Plus Advertising Agency
SUMMARY: Looking for a Media Administrator to provide office and management support to our media operations. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, is extremely organized, and has an eye for detail. Top candidates will display natural leadership qualities with fantastic time management and planning skills. This can be either a full or part-time role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for checking station confirmations of all media placed by the media buyer.
- Possibly placing media buys.
- Follow up and correct placement errors with the reps at the stations and advise the media buyer.
- Make a monthly calendar for each client and market with media spend. Email calendar to each client before the start of the month.
- Traffic coordinator for all media placements. Advise radio/TV stations the correct commercials to air and provide the commercial via email attachments. Keep precise records.
- Reconcile monthly invoices for all media. Check spot time to the original orders/confirmations and make sure the correct commercials aired.
- Produce monthly invoices and email/mail to the client.
- Reconcile client payments monthly and make deposits and pay the stations.
- Responsible for all accounting/checking and payment to media thru QuickBooks.
- Client payments to BP is due by the 25th of the month.
- Coordinated tax info/1099s/Federal/State/ with accounting firm BKD.
- Council Bluffs Billboard – Coordinator for billing clients and collecting payments. Forward all payments and correspondence to the appropriate person. Answer phone calls for potential billboard customers.
- Recommended Media and QuickBooks experience.
- Coordinating Company events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Media experience a plus
- Exceptional people skills and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Works well in a fast paced always changing environment.
