Training Coordinator

Working with the Plant Manager, Human Resources, Supervisors, General Supervisors, and EHS to meet needs for production and training.

Performance Expectations

• Maintain departmental communication boards to ensure up to date documentation is posted and trained to.
• Must be able to adjust to change and have the ability to manage muliple projects at a time.
• Working With Human Recources, Supevisors, and EHS to identify and meet all training needs.
• Creating and scheduling all training including new hire trainings and renewal trainings.
• Work in conjunction with Department Supervisors to update Training Matrix on a weekly Basis.
• Followup and assist Department Supervisors to complete Job Specific Trainings in a timely manner.
• Assist with new hire orientation during and beyond onboarding - Reviewing all work instruction with newly hired operators.
• Work with new operators during their first 30 days. Helping them understand work instructions and Quality.
• Coach and retrain operators when needed.
• Verifying Quality Alerts and Safety Alert trainings have been completed by each shift.
• Verify department documents are being completed in the required frequencies and documents are understood.
• Work co-lateral with Department Supervisors to close any recognized training gaps within each department.
• Work with the Leadership of the assigned departments to ensure all employees are aware of the required PPE and are adhering to LLM-MR Polices and Procedures.
• Maintain Rosters and Manning with General Supervisor.
• Update and Create new work instructions with Engineering.
• Create new spread sheets using Excel, Word and Microsoft.
• Be able to support the off shift with Training.
• Cross train with other Area Specific Trainers to ensure consistency and coverage throughout the facility.

Credentials

High school graduate or equivalent

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft
• General knowledge of Manufacturing Processes(Die Cast / Machining / Assembly)
• Ability to speak in front of audiences 10 people, at all levels of staff.
• Must be self-directed and be able to operate independently.
