The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring an AVP of Financial Management to our Workplace Solutions Finance Team to work in one of our key city offices with hybrid work from home flexibility. As the retirement business continues to grow and evolve Lincoln continues to invest in the talent of its Finance team with this expanded role. You will lead the financial reporting and analysis team that is critical to the future success of Retirement Plan Services and the broader Workplace Solutions organization. You and your team will ensure that as this business grows it does so in a sustainable and profitable manner and the results of our success are understood and reported accurately.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the quarterly earnings process, including the reporting, analysis and communication of quarterly results
- Analyzing business profitability trends to help identify areas of opportunities and develop strategies to maximize results
- Ensuring financial results, sales and other key business metrics are recorded and communicated effectively and properly
- Owning the financial planning process where you will project the Retirement business into the future (up to 10 years)
- Leveraging a team of highly skilled individuals to help achieve the goals of the Finance team and the many leaders you will partner with
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- 10 Years of experience in Financial Analysts or Accounting that aligns with the responsibilities of the role
- 3 years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience including influencing senior management/critical stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- A strong work ethic who can overcome obstacles and preserve through challenges
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience building and leading a team of highly productive analysts
- Experience in the Retirement business
- Experience in FP&A roles

Pay Range: $118,300 - $215,800
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
