General Purpose of Job
The Finance Data Integration organization represents Finance to the larger organization for any projects/initiatives involving the implementation of or changes to current insurance policy administrative systems’ financial data or accounting processes. This position will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he will implement and maintain policy administrative source system ledger data feeds to our general ledger and sub-ledgers, ensuring the integrity of accounting data for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads/delivers on all Finance Data aspects of the end-to-end deployment of projects including analysis/determining requirements, design, development, testing and implementation
Maintains various accounting translation tables/rules to support new products, other business needs, regulatory requirements, etc.
Serves as a resource to team members, IT and applicable internal stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Analyzes and establishes accounting rules for complex source system accounting transactions to ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
Identifies, researches and resolves discrepancies or out of balance situations amongst source systems and related accounting data
Identifies accounting issues/concerns and recommends mitigation solution(s) to management.
Ensures the integrity of more complex accounting processes and reconciliations for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles, and compliance with internal controls and SOX.
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
Education
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

3 - 5 Years of experience with finance systems and accounting that directly relates to the responsibilities for this position. (Required )

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid/Home : Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
