The Role at a Glance
We’re excited to bring on a CX Strategist to drive ideation/prototyping activities in our Customer Experience Center of Expertise (CX COE). This position can be remote or hybrid out of one of our key city locations.
As a member of this high-performing team, you would play a critical role in improving customer experiences with Workplace Solutions products. You’ll lead ‘R&D’ efforts for new customer-facing capabilities and other journey enhancements – identifying and shaping ideas that can make it easier and more satisfying to be our customer. Your UX design skills will enable you to illustrate and engage, creating a compelling go-forward vision.
You’ll get the chance to work on varied topics in the financial services ecosystem, from employees’ experiences with disability leave to companies’ support of their employees’ retirement planning and financial wellness. Discover and dig into customers’ unmet needs, then brainstorm and mock up ways to improve their experiences. After testing and iterating on these prototypes, share them with leaders in ways that resonate and provide a strong foundation for eventual development.
What you'll be doing
- Digging into existing customer feedback, industry/consumer trends, front-line employee input, and new consumer research to surface and validate ideas for CX enhancements
- Leveraging your design skills to create wireframes and other visuals; seeking and incorporating feedback from stakeholders and customers/proxies
- Evangelizing and building support for high-potential concepts across the organization
- Iterating on our new, ongoing approach to surfacing capability ideas; developing any needed templates
- Supporting other CX projects with design tasks, including creating prototypes/visuals that ‘make it real’ to business counterparts
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 3-5 years of experience in UX design, process improvement, CX, strategy, project management, or similar role related to the responsibilities
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Axure) and experience creating varied, polished visuals
- Entrepreneurial approach, but ability to thrive in an enterprise environment (including building strong cross-functional relationships)
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of design thinking/human-centered design approaches and concepts
- Experience facilitating ideation workshops and/or conducting customer research
- Proficiency with office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and collaboration/ideation tools (e.g., Miro, Mural)
