Materials Manager

Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the electronics manufacturing industry in search of a Materials Manager to join their team! The Materials Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, logistics, and inventory management of materials and supplies. Location: Centennial, CO
Work Schedule: Full-time, in office
Compensation: $65K - $75K

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for sourcing materials at the best price and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency.
• Manage contracts with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Implement systems and processes to track materials from procurement to delivery.
• Analyze data and generate reports on material usage, costs, and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field OR 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier management.
• Proven experience in materials management or a similar role.
• Proficient in using inventory management systems and software tools.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MRP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
