The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the injection molding industry in search of a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team! This role will report to the Operational Excellence Manager. Looking for candidates who want to join, build, and contribute to a great team and an evolving culture!
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Location: Denver Metro Area
Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000/year
Responsibilities
- Directs QA personnel; assigns work, reviews performance, and provides coaching/counseling as needed
- Facilitates all necessary quality meetings; attend production meetings
- Acts as client quality liaison, oversees the receiving & sampling of parts, analyzes/reviews data to be sent to customers, performs 8D corrective actions, assists during customer audits and Quality Certification Audits
- Participates in engineering design/tolerance reviews, APQP, PPAP process and makes print change recommendations to the customer.
- Researches and resolves production quality issues; evaluates potential rejects and takes corrective action
- Establishes all in process inspection plans
- Maintains company specified quality certifications; oversees the auditing and arranges schedule on a timely basis; conducts plant wide training.
- Works with process owners to establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
- Acts as company QMS representative
- Organizes and trains personnel in proactive approaches with Total Quality Management (TQM) and other quality methods
- Develop and distribute quality related KPIs, such COPQ
- Maintains production control plans/job books/IQMS up to date with current revisions
- Oversees establishment of quality plans that ensure meeting customers’ expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent job experience
- Knowledge of injection molding and/or thermoforming business
- Knowledge of ISO, IATF, AS9100 elements
- Computer literate
- DOE, FMEA, PPAP, SPC
- Quality cost principles knowledge
- Technical writing skills
- Project Management skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong team player and ability to effectively communicate
