What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales position at Lincoln Group?

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the wastewater industry, in search of Inside Salesperson to join their team in Denver, CO! Join a local team as an Inside Sales, where you'll utilize your sales expertise to read plans, prepare quotes, and collaborate with vendors and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Bring your excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills to help us meet and exceed sales targets.


Type of Hire: Direct Hire

Title: Inside Sales

Location: Denver, CO

Work Schedule: Day Shift

Compensation: $28.00- $30.00


PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Read plans using STACK plan software.
  • Prepare a take-off from the plans.
  • Create and prepare quotes for customers.
  • Obtain quotes, spec sheets, and drawings from vendors.
  • Learn area specifications (MAG specs) for various locations.
  • Perform take-offs and price material lists based on customer requirements.
  • Enter, process, and refine orders; communicate unit pricing, shipping details, and other relevant information to customers.
  • Create orders and input data for total cost calculations using computer systems.
  • Organize and file orders based on expected delivery dates.
  • Participate in safety and office protection planning activities.
  • Calculate prices, discounts, and shipping charges.
  • Promote additional material sales to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatcher, Warehouse, and Purchasing to expedite or track missing or delayed shipments.
  • Pull orders and assist with walk-in customers.
  • Direct orders to the Warehouse for fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery or shipment.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated success in inside sales, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage and persuade customers.
  • Skilled at understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Proficient in managing time effectively to prioritize leads, follow-ups, and meet sales quotas.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with team members, departments, and support functions to achieve shared goals.
  • A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
