About Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center: Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center provides inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization psychiatric and behavioral health services to children & adolescents ages 3-17 years of age. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacist required. Previous pharmacy management experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current Illinois State licensure in good standing. Successful completion of CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
Knowledge/Skills: Thorough understanding of pharmacy operations. Skill in dispensing prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care, according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements.
Skill in managing drug inventory.
Knowledge of drug information.
Ability to effectively compile and analyze data relating to patient care.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
Ability to recommend/take corrective courses of action that would improve the functioning of the department’s systems.
Must be a self-starter and goal/results-oriented.
Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information.
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Strong customer service skills to external and internal customers.
Ability to adhere to safety policies and code procedures react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
Strong problem solving skills. Leadership and management skills.
Must value and support hospital goals, objectives and treatment philosophy.
