JOB DESCRIPTION
The SAP Solution Architect for finance in the Media Industry is responsible for leading the transformation of Media companies including the adoption of SAP S/4HANA Media Management. This role requires a deep Media industry knowledge and understanding of SAP architecture, relevant SAP Media solutions for among others Title and Rights Management, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Finance with Sales and Distribution Integration, Content Lifecycle Management, Royalty and Revenue Management, Metadata Management, Streaming and Distribution Support, Financial Analytics and Reporting as well as exceptional project management skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and execution of SAP S/4HANA Media Management finance system implementations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze finance requirements specific to the media industry. Design end-to-end SAP solutions for finance functions, ensuring alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and SAP standards. Architect solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and support future scalability.
Apply deep knowledge of SAP modules and finance relevant to the media industry, such as SAP S/4HANA Media Management, and SAP Customer Experience solutions.
- Provide solutions for Title Management, Rights and Licensing, Revenue Tracking, Content Distribution, Metadata and Catalog Management, Workflow Integration, Compliance and Reporting.
- Provide solutions for Title Market Territory; address the specific challenges and opportunities related to the geographical distribution and market segmentation of media titles including
- Global Distribution Strategy, Rights Management Across Territories, Localization and Language Considerations, Regional Content Regulations, Revenue Recognition in Different Markets, Territorial Distribution Agreements
- Provide solutions to manage the dynamics between Intellectual Property (IP) owners and sellers to effectively handle the complexities of rights management, royalties, revenue distribution, and compliance as well as Rights and Licensing Management, Contractual Agreements, Compliance and Reporting, Workflow Integration.
- Provide solutions and have dual expertise in both Streaming and Direct distribution models to address the evolving landscape of content delivery and consumption. This includes how to manage diverse Distribution Channels, different content packaging and delivery mechanisms, User Experience, Monetization Strategies and Revenue models, Data Analytics and User Insights, Security and Digital Rights Management, Integration with Third-Party Services such as CDN, Scalability and Performance
Provide technical expertise on S/4HANA Media Management, including its capabilities, limitations, and the implications of different transition scenarios.
Support testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting activities, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
SAP Finance to Manage Solution Architect for Media Industry
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Media Industry leveraging SAP systems, with at least 1 year specifically in S/4HANA Media Management and transformations.
- Experience in leading as a Solution Architect at least 1 end-to-end S/4HANA Media Management transition project with focus on Finance to Manage.
- Deep understanding of SAP architecture in finance for Media including integrations with among others SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP Customer Experience (C/4HANA) with SAP Marketing Cloud and SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Digital Rights Management (DRM), SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).9
