Job Overview:
As the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for directing, planning, maintaining and leading daily operations at one of Linde’s production facilities located in Burns Harbor, IN. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of principles and practices within operations, and will provide leadership to drive safety, compliance, reliability, operational excellence, and profitability. The Burns Harbor processes include (2) air separation units supplying gaseous oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to our on-site customer. The site also contains liquid product storage and pumping systems that supply the pipeline backup systems. Key assets include, but not limited to major electrical distribution equipment, high speed rotating equipment, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, gas fired heater/vaporizer systems, cooling tower, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and instrumentation. This is a front-line, hands-on operations role requiring accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is required.
