Previous work experience in inventory in a Busy Auto Salvage yard would be extremely helpful.
THIS IS A VERY INVOLVED POSITION REQUIRING A DEDICATED SALVAGE INVENTORY EXPERT. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT APPLICANT.
This position has many facets. From the time the car is brought in, it is inspected assigned a stock number, title checked, car completely inspected inside and out, and each part checked in on tablet, vin checked to match title, assigned location, pictures taken, tags and dismantling packets made, communication between yard and dismantling team as to what parts pulled and what parts to core. Must be up on part pricing and interchange. Also, the constant auditing of in-stock inventory to maintain the highest level of accuracy so our customer's orders will be filled and not cancelled because the inventory was incorrect or outdated.
These are just some of the requirements for this position.
You will be working in heat, cold and all the elements when physically checking vehicle and parts on tablet, to then be uploaded on the computer and go live online.
Responsibilities
- Enter newly arrived inventory with tablet software.
- Maintain warehouse and yard inventory with audits to maintain highest accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales and production employees to ensure business goals are met
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

- Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
- An analytical mind with strong math skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
