What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Operations Manager position at Line-X?
We are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be someone with machine maintenance experience and a good understanding of plural component equipment service. Someone who wants to be a leader and work in a team environment is a must. In this role, you will be supporting our franchises on-site at various facilities within your region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site installation of new equipment and training for new franchises
- Provide technical training on new processes, equipment, and chemical applications
- On-site equipment operations and maintenance
- Take calls from our Technical Hotline after hours and when necessary
- Instruct, recommend, and demonstrate proper substrate preparation and supply written instruction
- Communicate with Team members to ensure consistent information is being distributed
- Manage all technical support needs within designated territory
- Make scheduled routine visits to franchises within designated territory
- Support other Technical Support Team Members when necessary
- Make recommendations on new equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Plural component equipment service and plural component application experience is a plus
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service
- Be detail-oriented, well-organized, and possess an attention to detail
- Multi-task and work in a changing environment
- Travel and drive in all regions across the southwestern US
- Maintain a clear understanding of LINE-X technical requirements
