What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at LINK CORPORATE SIOUX CENTER?
SUMMARY: The Quality Technician is responsible for assisting with the development, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of quality programs and processes. Quality Technicians will assist Engineering and Manufacturing with measuring and gauging parts, fixtures, etc. and will oversee and maintain our calibration programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Program Faro Arm and other CMM devices for the measurement and gauging of parts and fixtures.
· Monitor the PM and Calibration systems for gauges, torque tools and measurement instruments. Complete in-house gauge and tool validations. Coordinate with outside services to complete scheduled PM and calibration requirements.
· Assists the documentation of Control Plan and Work Instruction documents.
· Complete daily paint system checks. Monitor data from paint processes on an ongoing basis, note trends and work with Mfg. Engineering to problem solve issues.
· Assist with internal quality audits (QMS, MPS’s, Product Audits, MSA’s) as directed by the Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or Mfg. Engineer.
· Assists in the analysis and processing of customer returns, supplier returns and internal non-conforming product.
· Assists production personnel in quality related measuring and data collection, including use of dimensional measurement equipment.
· Participates in continuous improvement programs and problem-solving activities.
· Performs other duties as requested by the Sr Manager Quality & Manufacturing Engineering.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
