Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a solid experience in production and warehouse management, with a sharp emphasis on enhancing efficiency and optimizing operational workflows and is located in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily production activities in the warehouse, making sure that quality standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency are strictly followed.
• Develop and implement plans to boost productivity, make processes more efficient, and cut costs without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Guide, coach, and educate production staff so they possess the essential skills and knowledge to execute their duties efficiently.
• Analyze performance data related to production and warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with different teams, such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to organize production schedules and address any problems or delays that might occur.
• Keep accurate inventory records, manage inventory processes carefully, and carry out frequent stock audits. This will help reduce discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adopt and apply top strategies for maintaining, repairing, and using equipment to ensure it operates smoothly and reduces idle time.
• Keep up with the latest trends, new technologies, and top techniques in production and warehouse management. Always look for chances to innovate and make continuous improvements.
• Cultivate a culture of safety, teamwork, and responsibility within the production team, encouraging open dialogue and cooperation to reach shared objectives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a similar field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, utilizing a data-driven approach for decision-making.
• At least 5 years of experience in supervising production, ideally in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
• Proven success in improving efficiency, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable results.
• Having a forklift certification and knowing safety rules and compliance standards for warehouse work is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that allow for effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
