Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team.
(Must work PST hours)
JOB SUMMARY
The business analyst will work within an Agile Delivery Methodology. They will refine and address tickets related to defects, enhancements, technical debt, and research/design spikes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Minimum two (2) years of Salesforce experience with a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle and the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange solutions.
- Documented experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Proficient in analytical techniques, including leading requirements gathering sessions, documenting outcomes, designing process flows, and defining test scripts.
- Skilled in system configuration, with the ability to design and configure scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business needs and determine when custom development is necessary.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects, and understanding core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods.
- Expertise with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, and agile tools such as Jira.
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
- Salesforce consultant-level certifications, such as Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Experience working as a Quality Analyst.
- Proficiency with Omnistudio and Flow.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft, AWS tools, Box, ABBYY, and Clariti.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business requirements and recommend, implement, and manage the Salesforce solutions; cross-platform business requirements will work with other tools in the environment, including AWS, MuleSoft, and other ancillary tools.
- Lead discovery sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Demos.
- Document requirements in the form of user stories.
- Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed.
- Design and support user acceptance testing.
- Present solution options to the business, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization.
- Participate in declarative system configuration.
- Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams.
- Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery.
- Self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and a passion for solving complex business and technology problems.
- Works collaboratively with the Solution Owner and Functional Lead to build solutions for business needs.
- Depending on the project, configures solutions or supports developers in building and testing them.
- Assists with activities such as scoping and documentation as needed.
- Well-respected role within the business community.
- Called upon to investigate, solve, or mitigate issues faced by business users/leaders to ensure business continuity.
- Utilizes configuration skills to address issues, often resolving them without the need for developer escalation.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of business needs and requirements.
