Linke Resources is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in employee relations for a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of the onboarding process with new employees and assist Agency employees with inquiries
Prepare, obtain, and maintain personnel records, contracts, and reports
Determine that all required documents have been received and comply with Agency policies and all regulations
Prepare personal files and maintain list of required documents
Assist in the operation of human resource systems and procedures
Receive background investigation reports from Recruiter, analyze the data and review with HR Director as needed
Maintain an understanding of employment law
Conduct internal investigations for employee complaints, incidents of misconduct, claims of sexual harassment, and harassment
Utilize the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to review, handle, and finalize terminations of contract site employees according to Agency policies and procedures
Attend and participate in trainings, staff meetings, hearings, and other activities
Understand and optimize Agency mission, vision, and services
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, social sciences, education, or related field
Two (2) years’ experience in education, training, or human resources development
