Orthopaedic Physician Assistant - 1797319

Atlanta Orthopedic experienced Physician Assistant opportunity with Group covering multiple locations in Atlanta area. Combination of Clinic time and OR at Ambulatory Surgical Center. Must have at least one year of Orthopedic experience. Patients are acute injury- work related injury, personal injury, and sports injury. Must be open to travel to different locations each day.

About the Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity

• Work alongside one Surgeon and another Physician Assistant to cover clinic and OR days
• Ambulatory Surgery Center is in Sandy Springs
• EMR is eclinical works (ECW)
• Office hours are 8:30-4:30 (last patient at 3:45)
• 13-14 patients a day
• Several offices have Physical Therapy
• Most cases are extremity cases ( no spine and no total joints)
• 1 day each week in OR
• No call and no rounding

Requirements of the Orthopedic Physician Assistant

• Master’s Level Program Graduate
• National Certification
• Georgia State Medical License
• Over one year of Orthopedic outpatient experience
• Comfortable with Ortho exam and radiologic findings
• First Assist experience
• So important to work as team with Surgeon and PA colleagues that cover each office
• Strong EMR experience for timely patient progress notes
