What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Science Analyst position at LinkSquares, Inc.?
As a Data Science Analyst, you will be helping to drive our core differentiator ... AI and Machine Learning! LinkSquares is a fast growing, Series-C funded startup with Machine Learning in its DNA. We use ML in our platform to take the manual, time-consuming, tedious tasks out of the contracting process. This makes data science an impactful, integral part of the LinkSquares product roadmap and vision.
What you'll do:
- Use data to drive insights and decision making on engineering and DS operations
- Work with the Machine Learning team understand ML model performance and prioritize work
- Design and manage experiments to answer challenging business, engineering, and product questions
- Be part of a cutting edge DS team tackling difficult projects
- Help set the direction of Linksquares for the next 5 years of growth!
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Stats, Finance, Analytics, etc)
- Strong analytical ability. Understanding of data, metrics, and experimentation
Problem solving, deconstruction, ambiguity resolution/reduction
- Proficiency in core data manipulation languages SQL and R or Python (Python preferred)
- Machine Learning experience a plus but not required
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex space
