About the role
The Manager of People Operations will play a critical role in managing the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that support our employees and drive our culture. You thrive on learning and would be excited to become an expert on the intricacies of each of our departmental teams. This strategic role will be key to driving our continued growth and development.
Key responsibilities
- Work with LinkUp’s leadership team to support a people-centered workplace culture that is welcoming, energizing, and empowering to employees of all identities, communities, and experiences
- Lead and coordinate recruitment efforts and hiring process, assisting with creating job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive company culture and high employee morale
- Manage the performance management process, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback, and coaching employees to improve performance
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and meet the needs of employees
- Assist with and lead components of the continued rollout of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), including the implementation of effective communication within and across functions, advising teams with best practices on how we work (tools, processes, procedures and organization) and helping ensure team and individual goals align with the company goals and strategy
- Provide useful data to help guide decision making, and allow the company to scale effectively and efficiently
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to managers and employees on people related issues and policies across the company
- Be able to communicate at all levels in the company and to support business development and change
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Create and maintain employee files and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Manage the semi-monthly payroll process
- Maintain and update employee handbooks and other HR-related documents
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications
