The Concierge’s main role is to attend to the needs of the residents while providing excellent customer service and attention to detail. The concierge will also help cover reception, transportation, and housekeeping.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities
1. Provides support to residents as needed.
a. Assist residents as needed in a friendly, proactive manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
b. Collaborate with staff to identify and solve resident issues that arise.
c. Anticipate resident needs to accommodate them and provide exceptional resident experience.
2. Provides Receptionist support as needed.
a. Greet all who enter facility.
b. Assist with incoming calls.
c. Distributes mail.
d. Schedules appointments and transportation for residents.
3. Provides Transportation support as needed.
a. Drives small vans on city streets, highways, and in and out of parking lots and driveways.
b. Assists residents in and out of vehicle as needed.
c. Picks up packages and other items off campus as directed.
d. Assists in scheduling of transportation.
e. Reports all accidents and incidents within 24 hours.
f. Maintains a safe driving record
4. Provides Housekeeping support as needed.
a. General housekeeping duties in residential and common areas as needed including, but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal.
5. Satisfies all educational in service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
a. Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
b. Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
c. Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
d. Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.
In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Concierge shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Requirements: Safe Driving record required, CPR Certification and Defensive Driving Courses preferred.
Attendance: Regular attendance is an essential part of this job.
