CONMED is seeking an Orthopedic District Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, training, retaining, and managing sales talent to achieve sales revenue in your assigned district. In addition, you will help strategize, plan and coordinate selling activities of the sales representatives under your supervision. As an Orthopedic Sales Manager, you will report to the Regional Director who will assist in helping you develop plans that focus on maximizing sales opportunities in the district and push you to exceed each goal. As a team player, you will ensure that your team provide outstanding customer service and executes demonstrations/presentations within the Operating Room & office settings to surgeons and hospital personnel. Click here to view our Orthopedic Product Portfolio Click here to learn more about BioBrace What You Will Do: Develop and implement business plans under the direction of the Regional Director Achieves sales quotas by driving sales teams to deliver above market share growth through product sales introductions in assigned district/territory. Implements sales strategies and tactics for the area, promoting products to existing and new customers through the sales reps. Establishes and develops rapport with key surgeons and engage with admin level customers (hospital and ambulatory surgery centers) to run and manage positive and productive relationships. Recruit, hire, trains and manage a performance-oriented sales team Maintains routine communications, field rides, management support, leadership, performance management and development of each direct report. What You Need: Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University (MBA or MA preferred) One of the following: 5 years of demonstrated successful sales experience preferred (within medical device or industry is ideal) 2 years of sales management experience with demonstrated ability to manage others to accomplish sales goals High level of energy, motivation, drive, perseverance, initiative, commitment & professionalism Excellent time management and ability to effectively prioritize *Note: This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship Travel Requirements: 70% of time spent in the field Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile CONMED is driven to work together with our customers to make healthcare better.
