Shift: 05:00 am a 01:30 pm (Monday through Friday) (Lunes a Viernes)
Location: Alvic USA
Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in the production process. This role involves setting up machines, monitoring their performance, conducting quality checks, and ensuring efficient production while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and other equipment.
Follow production schedules and instructions to meet daily targets.
Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Report any defects or inconsistencies to the supervisor and take corrective actions as needed.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, working with maintenance teams for complex repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure team members do the same.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to management immediately.
Complete Production Logs And Other Documentation As Required.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues and progress.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and production instructions.
Basic computer skills for operating machine interfaces and recording data.
Personal Attributes
Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
