Job Posting for Project Manager at Lion Roofing and Gutters
Job Summary: The Roofing Project Manager is responsible for generating leads, evaluating the roof needs of residential clients, folowing the Lion Roofing and Gutters Sales Model and creating and presenting options. This role requires good communication skills and basic roofing knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meeting the client's needs and wants while meeting the minimum budgeted sales as determined by management's plan. The company depends highly on the Roofing PM’s ability to convert prospects into satisfied owners of new roofing systems.
Leads are valuable assets of the company and should be treated as such:
Maintain a closing ratio on referral generated leads of 60% or higher.
Maintain a closing ratio on marketed leads of 50% or higher.
Maintain an average sale price of $10,000 or higher.
Generate a minimum of 5 leads a week from door knocking, networking, or client referrals.
Arrive at appointments 5 - 10 minutes ahead of time.
Only present the price for a system when all the decision makers are present.
Use the Lion Roofing and Gutters Roofing Sales Guide.
If both decision makers are not present, perform a partial survey and reset the appointment time when all decision makers are available.
Perform a complete 21 Point Roof Inspection on every call.
Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The Project Manager is responsible for financing paperwork as well as ensuring collection of cash payments. Commission is not paid until the company is paid for the job or the client has signed a financing completion form.
Spend at least two hours each week reading or listening to self-improvement or sales-related books, video, or audio.
Conduct daily activities with the highest level of honesty and integrity, and always display a positive attitude toward felow team members. Understand that any misrepresentation to a client or the Sales and Marketing Manager is grounds for immediate dismissal.
Arrive on time for sales training meetings conducted by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
The Commission sheet is approved by the Sales Manager before commission is paid.
Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required
Associate degree preferred but not required
Have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
2 years' experience in Sales
Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
Strong client service skills
Must pass random drug testing
Be able to operate a smartphone and tablet
Be able to lift 50 Ibs. regularly, bend repeatedly, climb a ladder 40', and kneel for extended periods of time
Be able to work in the heat and sub-zero weather
Have no fear of heights
Possess basic and/or advanced trade experience
Present and communicate professionally (written and verbally)
Understanding of the current regulations within the field
Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time
Wear personal protective equipment
Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
