Airworthiness Subject Matter Expert
Position Overview: Liona Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The candidate will play a pivotal role in providing advanced technical expertise in airworthiness and engineering principles to support Department of Defense (DoD) projects. As an Airworthiness SME, you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Expertise:
- Apply advanced engineering principles, criteria, and procedures to improve the performance and sustainability of AF and joint service weapon systems.
- Program Management:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in program management philosophy, policies, and procedures to support acquisition programs throughout their lifecycles.
- Life Cycle Management:
- Provide technical guidance to procurement activities, post-award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
- Requirements Qualification:
- Possess an advanced degree (Master of Art (MA) or Master of Science (MS)) in engineering from an ABET accredited program, with a major in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in the respective engineering and/or airworthiness field, with at least 10 years in the Department of Defense (DoD).
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MA or MS) in engineering from an ABET accredited program (electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering).
- Experience:
- 25 years of experience in the respective engineering and/or airworthiness field, with at least 10 years in the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required.
