• Instruction and Classroom Management: Facilitate outdoor learning experiences that foster self-reliance, resilience, and sustainability, in alignment with LMSR's vision.
• Resource Management: Prepare and manage class materials that promote sustainability and leave minimal environmental impact, adhering to LMSR's core values.
• Professional Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with the LMSR team to further the school's mission, sharing best practices and integrating innovative teaching approaches that balance ancestral wisdom with modern understanding.
• Communication and Leadership: Engage with the LMSR community—students, parents, and staff—with kindness, respect, and a commitment to fostering personal growth and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in teaching, particularly in outdoor and experiential learning settings.
• Expertise in survival skills, experimental archaeology, environmental literacy, and a strong foundation in STEM.
• Alignment with LMSR's core values of sustainability, groundedness, kindness, adventure, awareness, survival essentials, and embracing challenges.
• At least 18 years of age, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
