Summary of Position
The Manager, Channel Planning provides support to the Programming and Digital Channels department in managing schedules for FAST, SVOD, Curated AVOD and OTT channels. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in program scheduling, broadcast operations, or content programming, and have a passion for movies and TV.
Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and distribute all planning charts, programming monthly highlight decks and partner pitch requests
  • Ad-hoc partner requests for channel creation, stunts, creative asset development
  • partner performance trackers
  • Single Series scheduling oversight
  • Assist team with regular competitive analysis (review and make suggestions related to potential pop-up content promotional opportunities, communicate viewership ups and downs, guide enhancements or partner platform product updates, etc.)
  • Assist Sr. Manager of Content Operations with collecting and conforming to spec asset metadata elements in order to build per Channel planners
  • Support department with additional projects as they arise (e.g., Diginet analysis, 3rd party library evaluations, digital projects, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 5 years of scheduling experience with broadcast, cable, or OTT linear program service
  • Knowledge of scheduling and programming software a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel a must
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
