Job Summary:

We are seeking talented and analytical-minded individuals to join our team as a Data Analyst for offices in both Knoxville, TN and the SF Bay, CA area. The ideal candidates will have a passion for data-driven decision-making and a strong background in statistical analysis, data visualization, and programming. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations, enhancing product quality, and driving business growth through actionable insights derived from data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources within the fresh produce supply chain, including farms, distributors, retailers, and consumer feedback channels.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction by analyzing data across the entire supply chain, including transportation logistics, storage facilities, and distribution networks.

Monitor and analyze quality metrics and feedback data to identify areas for improvement in production and distribution processes.

Provide market intelligence by tracking market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences through data analysis.

Generate reports and dashboards to present findings and insights to stakeholders, including management, sales teams, and suppliers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and drive continuous improvement in business processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred but not required.

Relevant certifications in data analysis or related fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate).

Experience with additional data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

Proficiency in data analysis tools and query languages such as Excel, SQL, DAX/MDX, and PowerBI.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledge of the fresh produce industry, including supply chain dynamics, quality assurance processes, and market trends, is a plus.
