What You will Get:
Summary/Objective
LCI is looking to add a high-performing Financial Analyst to its Financial Planning and Analysis team to help support all aspects of the FP&A process. The role offers professional development opportunities and exposure in all phases of the business. This individual will have several areas of focus including financial analysis and trend monitoring, monthly reporting and support of the budget and forecast processes. The analyst will also gain exposure with senior management in various financial discussions and ad-hoc projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and dashboards.
- Review actual financial results to budgets and forecasts to identify and monitor trends and predict future performance.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Act as a liaison to corporate department leaders with regards to financial tasks and requests.
- Assist in automating reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and financial models as needed.
- Translate analysis output into practical and implementable recommendations.
- Build a network of internal relationships with a broad cross-section of the organization, and leverage organizational knowledge, resources, and expertise.
- Manage own time and schedule with initiative and effectiveness, negotiating and prioritizing demands across multiple projects.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and listen. While a lot of the time may be spent behind a desk, it is also critical that the employee spend time in operations. This includes places like the production shop floor, as well as observing warehouse operations, and shipping.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week expected. Some weekend and overnight work as needed. Hours my vary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP principles
- This position requires excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with personnel ranging from clerical staff to more senior management.
- Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.
- Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires interaction with leaders.
- Demonstrate sound judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and with MS-Windows and other related PC applications
- Possess the desire and ability to learn automated data analysis tools and techniques.
- Open to Continuous Improvement
Location: Elkhart
Travel expectations: Up to 10% travel, within the local region, depending on the location of the project
