What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry position at Lippert?
This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the flow of production.
Essential Functions
- Monitor and oversee all activities related to Order Entry ensuring all orders received by 2pm are entered same day. Must be able to train new team members and increase team engagement through onboarding and exemplifying core values. Must Verify order accuracy through regular audits. Leads are the main communication channel rolling out new processes and general information to their teammates. Must be able to handle conflict and break bottlenecks for team members, while driving toward daily goals.
- Must have strong systems knowledge as order entry on this team takes many forms, including manual, EDI, Magento web-based sales, as well as the ability to understand promotional deals and how to incorporate them into the order entry process. EDI setups are typically facilitated by the Order Entry Lead who works with both the LCI EDI team and the customer directly. Systems issues identified by the customer or LCI are typically handled through this role.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings with other leaders and co-workers to foster a healthy and professional work environment and to execute new processes to add to efficiencies.

- Minimum of High School Diploma
- 2-5 Years Experience preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel is preferred
- Strong systems understanding is needed
- Continuous Improvement experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary
