Lipscomb University is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member in the College of Pharmacy - Pharmaceutical Sciences. The adjunct faculty position will support research development activities and identifying industrial partnerships in the area of bioanalysis, drug metabolism, and pharmacokinetics.

Position: Part-time adjunct - Pharmaceutical Sciences

Reports to: Chair of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Primary Responsibilities: This adjunct faculty member will assist the efforts of the Chair of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in delivering pharmacy curriculum content including but not inclusive to medicinal chemistry coursework.

Education: Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related basic and applied scientific disciplines.

Experience: Previous experience in academia is preferred.

Qualifications: A strong commitment to the mission of the College of Pharmacy and Lipscomb University | Ethical practice | Ability to engage research faculty and student trainees in a group setting and on an individual level | Excellent interpersonal skills | Organizational skills that include prioritizing longitudinal goals | Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Related Skills: The candidate selected must be capable of the following:

The ability to delivery curricular content as it relates to pharmaceutical science and pharmacy practice coursework.

Availability: July 15th, 2022

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and time commitment
