What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty, Modern Language Instructor for Methods of ELL and FL course position at Lipscomb University?
The Department of English and Modern Languages seeks a part-time instructor who could deliver the content of a course designed to equip pre-service teachers . The course focuses on language acquisition, culture, and methods for teaching native and non-native languages. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in TESOL or an MAT or MA in language teaching. The instructor needs to be able to demonstrate a variety of FL and ELL teaching methods and models and will be required to help students develop lesson plans that are interactive and engaging. The professor should have the ability to blend language and content instruction. Familiarity with SIOP and Sociocultural theory is desired.
