Position Overview: Day to day pulling and packing spare parts to process FedEx shipments to our domestic and international customers. Receive and organize incoming deliveries of spare parts, machinery, and materials. Coordinating and assemble our made-in-house kits and assemblies. Do a physical count of various inventory items each day.
Essential Functions:
- Perform daily inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
- Receive and organize incoming deliveries of spare parts, machinery, and materials.
- Pull, pack, and ship spare parts for customer orders within the same day of receipt.
- Process both domestic and international parcel shipments through FedEx and DHL.
- Prepare LTL and TL shipments for customer sales orders.
- Pack and ship any additional items for other departments that need returned to supplier, returned to customer, ship to other Liquibox locations, etc.
- Perform customer sales order related transactions in Oracle.
- Perform receiving transactions in Oracle.
- Generate batch report daily to identify made-in-house items to fulfil customer orders and inventory stock items and transact accordingly.
- Pick parts that are required to complete items that are made-in-house.
- Assemble kits that are made-in-house.
- Work collectively with the parts team and internal departments such Engineering, Service, Sales, etc. to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
- Safely operate a forklift to assist with organization of the warehouse along with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Good housekeeping of the parts room and warehouse including the proper disposal of incoming cardboard, pallets, crates, and other packing material.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: 2-3 years of Inventory control and warehouse experience, knowledge working with parcel and freight delivery companies for scheduling pick up and deliveries.
Specific Skills: Ability to hand assemble kits and pick & pack parts, customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and organization, assist both internal and external customers in a fast-paced team environment by taking initiative, being proactive, and decisive with minimal supervision.
Equipment & Machinery: Ability to drive forklift and maintain certification.
Computer Experience & Software: Inventory Management System (Oracle), Parcel Delivery (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.), Microsoft Suite.
