Liquid Automation, Inc. is looking for a Fabrication Supervisor in Warren, MI

Job Description
This position is responsible for Supervision of technical support, troubleshooting and repair of all Plant welding and assembly equipment.
Responsibilities

• Identifying and troubleshooting production problems

• Maintaining production lines and performing predictive and preventive maintenance

• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures

• Comply with all quality system procedures

• Ability to understand, record and communicate system problems and solutions

• Demonstrate good attendance

• Developing welding techniques and procedures for welding operations

• Ensures the welders are producing to print specifications, challenging new assemblies, periodic quality checks

• Must be able to lift, twist, bend, squat, climb, stand, walk continuously in close, confined surroundings

• Trains workers in operation of equipment

• Performs other duties as described

Qualifications

• A sound understanding of welding fundamentals and theory

• Can troubleshoot, repair and program resistance and MIG welding equipment

• Perform basic machining

• Complete required logs and repair documentation

• Knowledge of safety lockout

• Work independently

• Must follow Department Managers directions

• Minimum 5 y ears experience in manufacturing and welding maintenance

Some of the different types of machinery and materials used are as follows:

• Mig and Tig welding equipment.

• Mechanical power sheer.

• Hydraulic press break.

• Horizontal and vertical band saws.

• Welding and forming 20ga – 12ga 316 stainless steel.

• Welding and forming 1/16” – ¼” aluminum.

• Welding and forming 18ga – ¼” mild steel.

• Metal working power tools
