What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at LiquidStack Holding?
Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director of LiquidStack, this position will be responsible for the product quality, incoming inspections, supplier audits and the quality control process life cycle. The successful individual will maintain positive customer relationships, demonstrate active listening and the ability to respond to customer requirements in a timely manner. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual within the profession that wants to be a key team member on one of the world’s global leaders in liquid cooling for data centers, edge, and high-performance computing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains, improves, and expands the quality management systems in manufacturing facilities.
- Plans, conducts, and coordinates quality systems and process audits.
- Oversees all product development procedures and compliances.
- Drives and monitors vendor quality performance.
- Inspects final products to ensure requirements are met.
- Maintains accurate documentation of all processes and procedures in the plant.
- Verifies specifications of raw material and/or products from suppliers.
- Analyzes data to detect deviations from appropriate standards.
- Provides quality data and collaborates with the Services and Engineering department for continuous improvements.
- Coordinates with the commercial team to understand customer needs and complaints.
- Actively participates in Safety, health & environment program to ensure a high standard of workplace safety.
- Acts in a manner consistent with LiquidStack’s core values and according to LiquidStack’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behavior.
- Complies with standards and procedures of LiquidStack’s health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science and/or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards, ISO.
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis.
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Six Sigma certification (green belt, black belt, or master black belt) is preferred.
- Certification in Internal Audit (ISO 9000 or TS) is a plus.
- Appreciation to work in a global organization with teammates in different time zones/regions.
- Multicultural approach, comfortable working with diverse cultures and mind-sets.
- Attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize competing tasks and keeping to critical deadlines.
- Self-starter that can be hands-on and able to work independently.
- Cantonese, Spanish and/or German language skills are considered an asset.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time, with some international travel possible.
- Valid passport & driver’s license with no infractions that would limit ability to travel.
