Accounting Clerk
At LiteGear we design and build specialized LED lighting fixtures and controls for
use in the Cinema and Television industries. LiteGear was the pioneer behind
the popularization of flexible LED lighting for use in Cinema and Television
lighting applications. Our primary product, LED LiteRibbonTM, has transformed
sets across the nation. We are currently seeking a full time, accounting clerk to join the Litegear team. We are seeking a candidate who is willing and able to fulfill the responsibilities laid out below.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
General accounts receivable functions:
·Prepare and submit customer invoices
·Code, post and receipt payments
·Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
·Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
General accounts payable functions:
·Check, verify and process invoices
·Prepare payments for signature
·Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
·Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
·Maintain vendor files
General support functions:
·Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other
financial records
·Assist in month end reporting procedures
·Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and
discrepancies
·Assist with employee expense reports
·Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Education and Experience
·High School Diploma or equivalent
·1 - 3 years experience in clerical accounting
·Associate degree in business or accounting an advantage
·Knowledge of Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Online
·Portals including Webstore, Flex Solutions, and Zen Desk
·Solid computer literacy
