Responsibilities:
- Maintain all child/staff records on file and in order
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents or guardians
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a supportive team environment
Requirements:
- must have all meet all requirements to be a childcare Administrator in NC
- Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is preferred
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Ability to engage and educate children through creative and interactive activities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
